the three meets that i've seen him throw its been 170 consistently but that one meet he got 191.

so maybe he got a lucky pop or something but throwing consistently 170 is pretty good. It seems guys in the west have some injuries. Ive noticed some guys arent throwing at meets or arent throwing as good as they were in the beginning of the season.

I wouldn't say Hickel was "lucky". He is throwing better every meet. He has one of the best if not the best coach in the state. The Red River javelin program has been strong --girls and boys-- for a few years. Tandeski does a great job with those kids.

yea i would have to agree with that saying they have a good coach. I would like to ask everyone what they think will happen at State track or the end of the year year since its getting into middle of May.

What do you guys think for the WDA and EDC meets this year

Did you see that yesterday at the Fargo South Meet that RR girls went 1-2-3 in the jav? Evers, Steffen and Zeitvogel have all had firsts this year! And Megan Cambell is right in there too. It will be a battle among those 3 girls for first in the EDC. Who else in the EDC is throwing over 100? It looks like Hickle will be the favorite in the boys for EDC and State.

I have seen redmann throw and it seems to me that he has a lot going for him right now. His form looks great and he is launching it down that runway. I don't know about state champion, but he could definately be in the divisional round, WDA that is.
