I am personally friends with both devin and joash and i think this guy is right who knows who will win......joash is to be slightly favored going in but it is anyones race when it comes down to it......now after those two d 1 athletes there will be no one close to them when the race is over

He graduated from Mandan.

I think I know who it is. Maybe, the dude I used to beat up on in NHL 08? :)

Haha, well thanks PB, but Joash has been on a mission since last year. It's going to take a heck of a run to beat him.

EDIT: I'm actually garbage right now. Probably going to have to race back into good fitness.

Does Donte Smart from Minot run track??? I don't follow track/field much, but I saw him this weekend at WDA basketball and he was by far the quickest guy out there. He slipped occasionally because he juked himself out.

I think Channing Mann will make more noise this year. He just keeps better stronger and should do well if he can remain injury free. Lane Kashur the 8th grader should do well this year, he has no pressure and a lot of ability.. Should be a great year...

Mitch Ohlhauser , Century ,has been getting good times in the 400 open run. He will be a contender for meets.

Channing Mann, John Welk, they are good but coming off leg injury for Welk, and like you said if Mann stays injury free. there are a couple good runners from Century that will suprise you and make some noise!!

I see belcourt really doing great things this year in track. The Coach really has those boys tucking along. I've had the opportunity to attend some of those practices and seen how vigorous the workouts are. They usually have to do 2 laps before they even get a water break. Eventually they settle in and finish the workout with another 2 laps. Imagine doing this for 3 days a week. It gets the boys into fine condition and will pay big dividends the time the state meet rolls around. High hopes for the rumbling tumbling belcourt braves.

Ohlhauser, Century ,times have been (last year) low 53 sec. and high 52. sec in the 400 open run and running 52. and high 51. sec in the mile relay, as a freshman last year. I saw he took 3rd at the U of Mary indoor meet, shortly behind two seniors, one a state placer last year, I believe his time in the tribune was 54.79.

That is really good for the W.Fargo kid too, should be fun to see the results for the Fargo indoor state meet on March 31, could be some close races.

in the 4x100 going down the line GFRR has to be the favorite returning the whole 43.5 team, VC returns everyone on a 44.1 team, bismarck lost 2 but still had a team of 3 sophmores and a freshman go 44.9, minot was impressive winning the 4x1 lap at wda indoor (without donte smart or tengasdahl), jamestown returns 3 on a 44.5 team, st marys went 43.9 last year but lost 2 on that team, not sure who century will have but they had an amazing anchor on there 4x1 lap, depending on where dickonson wants to stack there relay they could really be up there, south lost griffin and horner so i dont know where they will be at, west fargo has all theres back i believe(and they had a freshman team go 47.9) im sure im missing something big but i think thats where alot of teams stand
