Who's going to state, who are the returning state qualifyers, and plain and simple.. who's the best?!

Brian Sinner, most definately will be a state qualifier and could very well win the high jump after going 6'3 or 6'4 last year as a sophmore.. also ryan smith will most likely take 100 and 200

I think Derek Elliott will beat Smith in the 200

I think that Shane Hillen from west fargo has a shot at state in the 400m this year... last year as a freshman he ran a 51.79

2 WORDS.....JOHN WELK......the kid is a stud! if he could do every event they have to offer he wouldnt be able to stand up becuase of all the gold tied to his neck! even though he is coming back from a broken leg he will be state champ( for whatever event he chooses)

so basically your saying that he is going to win 4 individual state titles this year... so the way i take it with welk taking first in 4 events and joash taking first in 2 st. marys should have 60 points out of 2 people and should be competing for a state title this year??

You sir, are what I would like to call, confused. I think Welk could win long jump, but he will be competing with Beaudoin from Dickinson. He also could win the 100 and 200, but I don't see Smith losing to him.

Saint Mary's won't beat BHS out for the title. It just won't happen.

i actually heard he is going to compete in shot put and beat qvale....4thliner did say he could win ANY event he chooses

agreed completly welk is really good and has a good chance to take state in a few of those and bhs will win it just to much talent

Ryan Smith will be able to stop and tie his shoes in the middle of the 100 and he'll still win it!!
