Century will have houston bashus, garret jacobs, ben chausse, matt woel

I've had the opportunity to attend some of those practices and seen how vigorous the workouts are. They usually have to do 2 laps before they even get a water break. Eventually they settle in and finish the workout with another 2 laps. Imagine doing this for 3 days a week. It gets the boys into fine condition and will pay big dividends the time the state meet rolls around. High hopes for the rumbling tumbling belcourt braves.

That is a very valid point cdog. I, myself, took the time off my nightly patrol at the zoo to interact and sit down and talk with Coach Runs with Tractor. In our meeting, he expressed how proud he was of his hardworking, bloodsweating athletes in the beautiful country of Belcourt. I could sense in his voice that he had a trick up his sleeve, and I have a feeling that we should all be taking our goggles off and looking at the bright stars they have coming out of there.

i really can't figure you guys out... are you...
A. someone who just has tremendous school pride and really thinks you are being logical
B. Someone who is from belcourt and is just bashing themselves into the ground making dumb statements
C. Someone who is completely from a differnt town and thinks it is just fun to bash belcourt athletics

I personally believe you are all C and if you are what you are doing is really only funny to yourself

there was talk last year before the state tourney that she might run the 1600 instead of the 100..obviously that didnt happen but I wouldnt be surprised if it ever did. It's one less race for her because the 1600 has no prelims and the 100 is probably the race shes most vulnerable in.

how do you back that up. sinner cleared 6' 3" twice last year and did a 6' 2" at state. stein had a best of 5' 10" and they are the same age

Stein has already cleared 6 this year and is vastly improving his form. He is going to win state for sure.

I don't think she would run the 1600, it would take too much energy, and Meers(sp) is very good at it. She his less vulnerable in the 100, as Reimnitz is gone.

Laura Roessler breaks Nat. HS Record in 800 this year. 2.02.9 - she ran a 2.03 last year at Olympic qualifiers.
Very possible. Hoping she can do it.

I've also seen stein jump and agree that he will beat sinner at state. Stein also excels in high jump and triple jump, unlike sinner, so he is often tired after those two events. When state rolls around he will give it his best and win. Plus brian probably only cleared 5'5 at aberdeen. Last time I saw him I wasn't impressed at all.

Yes, the five inches Stein is behind in the high jump is clearly not important seeing as Stein can long jump and triple jump better... I understand completely... due to this he will definitely beat Sinner at the high jump at state

by reading all these posts, it sounds almost as if everyone here is doubting the upcoming talent that century has. I wouldn't be surprised seeing the century track team producing some very talented athletes that will contest at the state track meet. May i remind all of you out there that this year there really isn't one outstanding athlete for all of the events out there, especially since practices are rare with the weather like it is now. Once the outside season starts, then everyone will start settling into their groove. like i said before, do not be surprised seeing the century track team having some athletes that will produce. Century is lacking in people, but they have heart. Garret Jacobs, jake Glass and maybe joe leard would start producing on the sprints. Distance wise they have brett kelly and mike frenzel. Upcoming people in the triple and long are taylor stein and jake glass. pole vault they have a couple of people that are quickly improving with jordan buechler and joe leard. the throwers are decent also with ryan meidinger leading the way for them. the final topic is high jump... no doubt that brian sinner is a good high jumper, but century has the fantastic jumper in taylor stein. last year he jumped 5' 10'' and sinner jumped 6'3'' but that was stein's first year. this year he is really improving and it is a possibility that he could upset sinner at state. it is gonna be a long season and i will be glad seeing what unveils during the meets
