Class B Seth Wisthoff

Postby thepistol » Thu Feb 28, 2008 3:12 am

As some of us know Seth Wisthoff of Glenburn won state in the Shot and Disc throwing a 54'9" in shot and a 158'11" discus. Do you guys think any one can touch him or even get close this year? (please dont start talking about the 400 in this topic, lol)

knowing him personally and how hard he works i wouldn't be surprised if he did something in javelin this year at state. I dont know that he'll win the thing but i think top 6 is too unrealistic.

Troy Dale throws the shotput consistently in the 50s. He is truly a joy to work with and is deserving of any young throwers respect.

Wisthoff threw 59'5 at the Minot Indoor on the 31st of March.
Looks like Kleinsasser's state record could be in trouble if he keeps progressing.

yeah, guess it may be hot, but at least I can go outside without having to use a shovel

To get back on topic, is Wisthoff going to throw in college or play football?

Wisthoff signed with UND for football, although I assume he could also throw if he so chooses. There are several UND football players who also throw the shot and disc.

He can spin but hes found that it is much more consistant to glide and he has actually thrown farther with his glide. He ended up scratching too many throws... and too many times at state spinners end up struggling cause they are so worried about saving their throws.

pretty close. hes a little more bulky now. that will be fixed with some sioux training camp. He is Playing tight end not D end.
