Too bad Duchscherer cant get revenge from last years split second loss in the 200 to leutz but he will be determined to stay at the top in the 400 200 100 and possibly 800 this year.

do you guys think he will run the 800 next year or just stay with the 100 200 and 400. Like at state if he qualifies the 800 is very tiring compared to even the 400.

Coach Zittleman will have him run the 800 in the beginning of the year and see how he does, just like he did last year with the 400. If he does well watch out for the him to have 4 individual titles at state.

see i just dont believe that being that bhs will probably be able to pick up 2 or 3 high placers in the 800 without him... i mean jake miller should win it and then there is a couple of more guys who can be right up there to... personally i think it would be better to have him on a relay team..... its probably not going to matter anyway bhs is probably gonna win state bye 100 points anyway

I personally think he might run it once or twice, but he will not run it at state it will exhaust him way to much for hsi other events he is much better at.

exactly what i was thinking... at state put him in the 3 sprint races and then put him on your loaded relay team with him ploof and 2 other fast guys maybe jacobson and miller or something (with ploof and doucherer you dont need lightning guys as your other 2 legs)

Its highly unlikely Duke will be running the 800 this season...he will be in the 100, 200, and 400 for sure. He will also be running in the 4x1 relay and 4x2. He may try the 800, but knowing him and what the coaches want he wont be sticking with it. BHS has enough talent in the 800 without having Duke run it.

If he is a junior, might be tough going up against Joash Osoro for senior athlete of the year next year.
