Mitch Kudrna 400 are just a few to name.

I don't know much about class b in track but I think Chris Bauer of New Salem will do well in the sprints.

Bishop Ryan will have a good team this year, last year they had vadell, he qualifyed in the 100 and 200, and all there relays return, they lost 1 senior that was in the 4x1, i dont remember if he was in the 4x2, but there alternate last year is pretty speedy to, and if memory serves me right vadell pulled up lame in an individual event and couldent do the relays, so there alternate (who i heard was pretty much running his 1st full 100 cause he got hurt at an indoor meet) was running, They had some trouble with the relays at state, they missed an exchange zone, or droped the baton or stepped out of the lane or something i dont remember, but if they get everything together they can give rubgy a good run for the money, cause rugby had been dominating that reagion for the past couple years, but dont quote me on anything, i get way to busy come spring to invest to much time in watching the track and baseball seasons

edit, saw the minot paper this morning, they had lsot a senior off the 4x8 too not sure if he ran the 4x4 tho

after reading the Dickinson Press this morning, it looks like the Trinity boys will be fielding a pretty decent squad this year. i'm expecting them to be in the top 2 at state this year.

Class B girls:

Carrington and Benson County both have excellent athletes this year. They just went 1, 2 in the NDSU indoor meet. Benson County won state last year also I do believe.

i guess i'm not sure who carrington has besides carlson but she will probably win all four of her events at state. that should get them a second but my pick though is for bottineau to win state this upcoming year. they have so much returning from last year's team. benson county shouldn't be to bad either but they did lose alot because one of the anderson girls (i get them mixed up all the time) is gone. those two were always racking up the points by placing 1 and 2 in every open they ran in. it's gonna be hard to replace her.

TRACK IS NOT A SPORT!!!  Sports involve strategy and using that stragety to win.  All track is if you can run 100 meters faster then this person your better at sports.  Sports are basektball, baseball, football, soccer, hockey.

Definition of sport "An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively. If you only consider strategy then I guess we can say Chess is a sport.

Baseball you are totally out of your mind.  If track isn't a sport than why is that most watched SPORT during the OLYMPICS huh?  You have got to be kidding me.  I dare you to tell someone who is track that they aren't in a sport.  Also track athletes are probaly in the best shape of anyone.  You are ridiculous

Sports take skill and fundamentals that can be learned.  You cant learn how to be faster than someone else.

HAHA ok you've gone from it doesn't have strategy to now saying track doesn't have skill or fundamentals. So it doesn't take skill to run and jump over hurdles? The shot put; the hammer throw; the discus throw; the javelin toss; the high jump; the long jump; the triple jump; and the pole Vault don't take SKILL or FUNDAMENTALS?? Even in the 100 and 200 meter dash you have to have good fundamentals.

Your last statement by far was the stupidest though. "You cant learn how to be faster then someone else." Well no duh, but you can work your butt off in working out and practicing to become faster. Do you think world class sprinters go "dang i was four tenths a second off the world record i can't learn to be faster so i should quit." Nope they go back and train and work harder on their fundamentals.

Try giving some solid reasons Track isn't a sport.

anyone can go long jump or run 100m just like any other sport anyone wants to do. but just like any other sport, if they want to be good at it, they have to work hard. if track doesn't involve strategy, skill, or fundamentals, let's see you go pole vault over a 10 foot bar. oh wait anyone can do that because track doesn't involve skill or fundamentals. i've been vaulting for 5 years now and believe me it takes SKILL and FUNDAMENTALS!

Also have u ever watched track?  If you have then you know it takes fundamentals then.  You are telling me that relays don't take any skill or fundamentals?  In the short relays pretty much if you don't have good hand offs then it doesn't matter how fast you are.  The 110 hurdlers you have learn how to 3 step, long jump and triple jump you have to get your steps down to jump perfectly, shot put you have to throw at a certain angle and the list goes on and on of how much skill and fundamentals you have.
