I would think last years state champion is the favorite. Kayla Roemmich is one great thrower. Abby Bratlien I'm sure is good, but I won't say she's the favorite. Not as long as Kayla stays healthy

As it looks right now, Holly Hassler from Bishop Ryan is the top qualifyer with a throw of  143' 11.00''.

Remember the name Alycia Kramer from Lidgerwood... nearly qualified in Class A in Wahp. and now transfered to Class B Lidgerwood... great javalin thrower

Swing and a Miss.  Kramer is maybe the 5th best in her region, behind Leigh Conklin from Oakes, Jamie Drevlow from Sargent Co., Amy Rourke from Lisbon, and Kristen Warren from Oakes

I think there's a fourth qualifier now - Dougherty from Lisbon.

i saw he went 12-6 or something like that, but i don't remember his name from any earlier track meets...did i just miss him or was this his first time competing in the pole vault this spring?

I think he was just straight poling earlier because of an injury.  His coach wanted him to heal before he competed at his ability level.

Rugby has about a 5% chance of winning. The team title is Trinity's to lose. Followed closely by Hazen, then a combination of Rugby, Lisbon, Mott-Regent, and W/W.

how do you say that when she is not ranked number 1 in either shot or disc... if you put both together yes she is but its a strong possibility that she doesn't with either shot or disc

that was said before the season started.... who knew that a guy that big and strong would not improve.... sounds to me like someone needs to learn how to spin
