i dont think he could place in the shot put but i have seen him throw a qualifying mark with a disc and if u qualify this year you basically place in disc... also i have heard he is a good javeline thrower

Katie Conlon of Jamestown is undefeated so far this year in the 800 and 1600. Jamestown also has one of the top 3200 relay teams also.

I love the way that girl runs.....She is truly a fantastic runner.......her older sister Maggie runs for NDSU and Katie comes from a family of runners......the Clarks from the Woodworth area.  Katie's cousin Madey Hornung also runs distance for Jamestown.  Beth McMillan and Kristi Falk round out a very tough team of distance runners for the jamestown girls track team.  I'd put that group of runners against any in the state.....

So he's a pretty good disc thrower guy and a javeline thrower? wow that is crazy that he is so good in all those events.

But you guys are always like right behind us. My 4 x 2 relay got beat by the RR relay at Bemidji by 1 sec. and they beat our 4 x 4 team too.

i believe the only ones that placed at state were luetz and zacher. since zacher went to class b that only leaves one. the east dominates in the jumps by far.

katie is great to watch. she's smooth. is jamestown the school to beat in the west? don't minot and bismarck have good distance runners?  i don't know about their field events, tho.

Bismarck is pretty domniant in the other events so they only need like a couple ppl to place to finish it off.
