She deserves her own thread. She had the top time in the 100, 200, 400, 100h, and 300h coming into the state track meet. She is not running the 100 at state. She ran a 42.02 300h. THAT IS INSANE! I always wanted her to go to NDSU, but she is probably wanted by better and better schools.

I don't know if she'll win four events this weekend, she'll have a tough time in the 200 vs Wisnewski, but she is one of the more special athletes to come through North Dakota.

Kelsie is doing it again this year. #1 in 200m, 400m, 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, #2 in 100m and tied for #2 in long jump. She is also part of the #3 4x100 and #2 4x200.

I realize to some people these times are just numbers, but 41.48 300 hurdles is so bonkers.

9th best time in the country this year.

For reference in SD here were the state champions.
B - 47.19
A - 45.73
AA - 45.21

She is amazing to watch run. Just so fast and flawless. Even in that 300m prelim that she fell, she still ran under 46.

I didn't see that. I assumed she coasted and didn't want to exert any excess energy.

One thing I can't wrap my mind around is she is probably one of the four best female runners in ND history and she is still ~3 seconds slower than Roesler and Milbrath in the 400. It just doesn't make sense.

I think she saved energy in her 400 at State since the 100 hurdles and 200 were all in a row.

yes, this. She basically only tried winning, not running her fastest.

Also, her 41.48 in 300h....was uncontested. Throw her in a race with some of the other top 10s in the country....and she is probably 41.3.

And when she fell in the prelims, she still won by 2 seconds!

Another and

Annnnd....she doesn't have a track to train on.

We’ll get to see her at Nike Nationals this weekend in the 100H, 400H and 200 dash

She was injured on Monday. They fear her prep career is over.
