Yea...Brackins is a dude. I honestly think a polished offensive post isnt really what OKC needs. They have enough scoring with Green, Durant, and Westbrook. Westbrooks ability to get to the hole is almost a good enough inside game, and an semi athletic big like Aldrich can clean up his misses and/or finish off a dish if help defense comes. I personally think Aldrich was the 2nd best option for that team, behind Ekpe Udoh.

I agree with this one more than any of the others i've seen so far. However, I would also move up Chris Paul one spot (when he's healthy), and move down Duncan a spot. Also, Derek Rose and maybe Joakim Noah could move up to the top 10 in the next 2-4 years

Rose, yes. Noah, are you kidding me? He has no potential to be a top 10 player. Even in college, he wasn't really a big star. He was a role player who played his role exceptionally well.

You're right, that was my bad. I meant he is one of the top role players in the NBA today

No way Pau is top 10. you might as well get rid of the slash between him and Williams cuz Williams is 10. Pau is maybe 14 or 15

I thought he might have meant Paul. Maybe not. It just seems like a lot of people consider Paul and Williams even.

cp3
Chris Paul #3

and I agree Pau is not top ten material individually...he is in fact a big part of the Lakers success in the last 2 years

O certainly. I don't think anyone would argue that. But, like you said, on his own, he's definitely not top 10.

9. Melo- don't like him at all but he can play (when he's healthy)!
10.Durant- he isn't worthy yet...but will be the next phenomenon!

this has got to be the worst list i have ever seen. first of all ginobili is not even top 20, nash isn't better than chris paul or deron williams, and durant should be easily top 5.

Your thinking to much of their team mates....and the help they get.......If the Draft was to day, Durant would go over Lebron? Nope!....Maybe in ND..OH and OHIO

I don't get what your getting at with the teammate thing. If you look at help from teammates, LeBron has help from #4 on the list. KD doesn't have anyone in the top 10.

I put a list on earlier but I'll change it now

1. Wade- Goes off at times. I'm not sure if him or Durant are 1 but I just can't put Kobe or Lebron here anymore
2. Durant- Really tough matchup and is a GREAT teammate. Plus he's my favorite player
3. LeBron- Freakish athlete. I don't think he has that much raw basketball skill, but he's so athletic it doesn't matter.
4. Kobe- Clutch player, but all he does is score and he's old
5. Rose- Fast don't lie. He's a great slasher
6. Amare- This has been a big year for him. He proved he could put up huge numbers without an elite point
7. Melo- Not sure if he's this high. He's good sometimes, othertimes he's not that great
8. Dirk- Toughest matchup in the league. If he's ever been blocked in his career I'm not sure how
9. Pierce- Not a flashy game but he gets it done with the midrange. I dare say he might be more clutch than Kobe
10. Howard- Hate him but he is a monster. I discovered this weekend he is really dirty with his elbows.

Kobe is number one because the NBA game matters the most when there is two minutes left. Without a doubt Kobe is the player you would want with the ball at the end of a game.

If we are basing this off just a single individual and what he brings to the game my list would go like this:

1. Steve Nash- Makes everyone around him better (example, Shawn Marion, Channing Frye)
2. Derek Rose- most electric young player in the nba, kid is a winner
3. LeBron James- Freak of nature, Best Athlete probably ever.
4. Dwight Howard- Defensive force and a tough matchup
5. Dirk Nowitski- Might be the toughest player in the nba to stop when he's on (7 footer shooting a 15 foot fade away
6. Kevin Love- Puts up huge numbers on a terrible team, but he is a beast
7. Kobe Bryant- He's a scorer, that's all he is, and he's getting old
8. Kevin Durant- He is a really tough matchup, in a few years he will be in the top 3
9. Dwayne Wade- Fierce competitor, not sold on all the hype he receives
10. Amare- Athletic freak, but he needs someone to give him the ball

Now I'm sure this list will get bashed

I like your list in the fact that you tell us why and the reasons you give are good ones. It will be bashed however because a lot of people don't believe Nash is at the top of his game anymore and people are going to say Love should not be on their because he plays for the Wolves. I think Love is a top 20 player in the NBA maybe top 15 but not #6.

What did Lebron do with no help in Cleavland? I love D-wade...but his success this year is due to the Focus Lebron gets, If anyone say's there is someone that brings more to a team than LeBron, There crazy!...Gretzke, Magic, Bird, A-Rod, MJ...No one adds or has added more presence to a team (Cleavland, Miami) than LeBron.

My feelings on LeBron are as follows:

He is probably the most athletically gifted person to ever walk the planet.
He played his butt off in the playoffs (I've never seen a person get a triple double and get bashed, wow)
His "Decision" was the worst choice he's made ever, if your going to leave a team don't pour salt in their wounds.
He gave the Cavaliers time to find other good players their answer was Antwan Jamison and Mo Williams (epic fail)
Dan Gilbert's comment "We will win a title before LeBron" wins the award for the stupidest comment of the year.
