I see that there are a few topics here that aren't directly about ND sports, so I'll try this out:

List some of the most memorable calls by a sports announcer.

1. Do you believe in miracles? Yes!
2. Look at Mills! Look at Mills! Oh, my God!
3. In your life, have you ever seen anything like that!
4. Down goes Frazier! down goes Frazier! (memorable, but not really that inspiring)

Don't include the announcer--let the next poster ID each one.

#2 was when Billy Mills came out of nowhere to win the 10,000 meter run at the Tokyo Olympics. The color commentator who made the call got fired for being 'unprofessional'. Anyone not in their 60s probably has never seen it, but go to youtube and watch it and it will give you chills every time. I was 6 at the time, and remember that my older brother was going wild over it (I'm not sure if it was live or tape delay). Mills cut close to a minute off of his previous best time.

#3 was Vern Lundquist when Tiger woods made his impossible chip shot at the Masters.

I forgot a few others:

The Giants win the pennant, the Giants win the penant, the Giants win the penant!

And we'll see you....tomorrow night! [maybe only for Twins fans]
