Im not a huge believer in the whole team chemistry thing, if you're gonna b a good team it doesnt matter if you hang out all the time or have dinner with each other.. but with all the distractions they had this year with kids getting in trouble all the time you have to think there must have been a little animocity among teammates. If a guy on my team would've gotten a DUI during season I would have absolutely gone insane on him. Its tough to respect a guy who doesnt care about you and your teammates enough to not do stupid crap in-season, and when you dont respect a guy... its really tough to play with him.
