Sioux lose 40-21. Get out gained 482-330. Sioux once again can't get anything going on the ground. 28 carries 20 yards. If you subtract out Freund's rushing total they did have 49 yards on the ground.

well this weekends game will be the final home game for the sioux, who are looking to win their 6th game of the season, hopefully they can crush southern utah before heading down to beat up on south dakota

tough loss for the sioux, maybe even the toughest all season, but lets hope the regroup with this bye week, and then come out and finish the season strong with a win over south dakota

um actually they only had 3 bye weeks, and if i am correct that is only one more than another big d1-aa college in north dakota so you better go post it in that topic too, but putting the stupid, feeling sorry for his own team not having such a great year, posts aside(Flip), lets hope the sioux can end the season on a good note before preparing for their biggest game ever, next season versus Texas Tech.

I was counting that month where they played d2 and d3 schools as bye weeks too. If you want to post something in other threads go ahead. Seriously, how many teams have back-to-back bye weeks?

I wonder what the record would have been for the Sioux if they would of had South Dakota State's record? SDSU played Iowa State and 2 other top ten teams in the FCS. I think the Sioux maybe could win one or two conference games and that is it? So they would end up, imo, with a 2-9 record if they played SDSU's schedule.

You may be correct in your statement, but we will never know! But I don't understand how SDSU entered in to this conversation. They certainly should be better than the Sioux - they are in their 5th year of FCS play while UND is in its first year. Having many more scholarships for many more years is bound to make a big difference!

If you are an SDSU fan, I have to applaud the progress your program has made. They have made great strides after being an average DII team for the last few years before making the move up! They should be proud of their accomplishments!
