Your right, why even try? Like Appalachian St. really had any chance last year against Michigan.

nope, just to show that Texas Tech is more interesting than St. Cloud St. No need to watch any of it to know that.

I changed it to the kickoff this year with another FCS team Eastern Washington, similar to what UND might experience next year.

actually no, "in talks" does not mean a done deal, and no where in this topic does it say it is a done deal, but if you were refering to my post, then haha, you must be blind, because you notice the little word there. that little word before hawaii and after and. the word is POSSIBLY. i dont know where you got that it was a done deal, so you kinda just made yourself look foolish on here, sorry man, if you need help reading just ask. my comment was merely saying since and sioux have texas tech scheduled and POSSIBLY hawaii, what will be their next FBS opponent in 2 years. so sorry to everyone for the confusion that baseball caused by making his statement

I don't like your attitude...I think your post would've been better as in "I would like to see who they are going to TRY TO schedule 2 years from now..." you did kinda make it seem that the 2 games have already been scheduled..but let's not freak out about this..

im not going to freaking out about this, but one of the 2 games has already been schduled so that why i said they will play texas tech for sure and then possibly hawaii, and the point i was trying to make was if they are talking to these teams this ealry on in their d1 career, i cant imagine who they will try to schedule in the future

k....im going to make a comment about NDSU just for a fair warning and its not a bash against either team. But looking at the schedule for today I notice that NDSU is televised on NBC for all of their home games since they went D-1. does anyone know if UND is talking to ABC or CBS affiliates in north dakota to televise their home games?

no i do not know, but my guess is that they will be televised on the fighting sioux network, thats what they were in the past, but i dont know, and NDSU has not played all of its home games on tv statewide, i think, i may be wrong, they have played 10 or 11 games total on tv statewide since going d1

NDSU has only 5 televised games this season..4 of them being on NBC and 1 being on FCS (Fox College Sports) and NBC..They also only had 5 televised games last year as well..1 being on FSN North and 1 on the Big Ten Network and the other 3 were on NBC

I get the Fighting Sioux Network and I don't think there are actually many football games televised, its more so hockey games. If the Fighting Sioux Network owns the rights to all the games I suppose it is possible none of the games will be on TV. I don't believe that to be the case though. I think it will depend on the success of their football team. If they are successful I think NBC/CBS will make an effort to get them on TV.

finally, the wait is over and it is almost gametime. tomorrow game against western washington should bea blowout in favor of the sioux. it is also UND's homecoming game tomorrow, then after tomorrows game, it is off to UC Davis for what might be a pretty good game. but we will have to wait and see. GO SIOUX!!!

sioux win 42-32, had a huge lead early then just sat back late. but held on for the win. 5-1 on the season now its time for UC Davis.

this game may be a hard one for the sioux, who have been practicing outside in 50 degree temps, and rain and 30mph winds on tuesday. the forecast for the UC Davis game is supposed to be in the mid 80s. i could see this causing great fatigue for the sioux, who is used to playing in a colder climate

i really didnt see the need for calling it an airplane hanger. the alerus center is a nice building, it may not be as nice as the fargodome but thats alright, cause we still have the ralph, which makes anything else look like a cardboard shack. the ralph and the alerus work along with the betty makes grand forks the most luxourious place to play in North Dakota.

Sioux lose 34-21. They score a TD in the last minute to make the score closer. Get out gained 415-245. By looking at the box score they couldn't get anything going on the ground, 68 yards on 27 carries, 46 of those yards came on one play.

Things don't get much easier. They play S. Illinois next week.

well after southern illinois, they may catch a break with southern utah, but SU is alot better than last year, and then the sioux play south dakota to end the season, i think the south dakota game will be an interesting and close game
