Minot St sweeps the Jimmies once again by 3-2 scores. 4 more shots at it before the season is over.

Quick question for you Hockeynut - where is the ice rink located at in Jamestown? My son and I would like to come to town and watch my old alma mater, DAC-Bottineau play on Saturday night.

It was a fun game on Saturday, faster paced than I anticipated and ending in a 1-1 tie with Jamestown winning the shoot out. There are some talented young men on both of these teams and the atmosphere was pretty fun too.

Glad you enjoyed the game. Jimnies went on to beat #6 Iowa St on Sunday day 4-2.

Jimmies lose to Colorado and the split with Colorado St this weekend. Will have their shot at Minot St again this coming weekend. In Jamestown Friday and in Minot Saturday. Have lost all 4 against them so far by scores of 5-3 twice and 3-2 twice.

Dean Stork has resigned as head coach of the Jimmies hockey team. Accepting an assistant coaching job at Miami of Ohio. He did a heck of a job while here and will be missed. His passion for the game was unmatched in this town.

Only thing there would be the Stutsmam county class B tourney and class B district tourney.

Same football field for games but they did add a new turf field for practice next to the new basketball arena.

The Harold Newman Arena is beautiful. With that and the new Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC) in town, things are looking up here. 2 great recruiting tools.

I expect a full Wilson Arena tonight as the Jimmies take on Minot St. in men's hockey. It's homecoming weekend with an all class reunion. On top of that the women's volleyball team will open up the new Harold Newman Arena Friday night. I will be attending both.

Another very entertaining game last night at Wilson Arena but the usual result. Minot St wins in a shootout 4-3. Good crowd despite the men's basketball team playing across the street at Newman Arena
