Went to UND's spring ball game at the Alerus today. I liked what i saw and think they will be very competitive this season. I think the offense will be much improved hopefully they will throw the ball more they have some talented WR's, the defense probably won't be as good as its been in the past but they will be tough. Here's some of the North Dakota kids that were on the 1st and 2nd units today.

1st unit offense
Troy Ott - Dickinson
Brett Bauer - Dickinson
Justin Mushka - Fessenden
Andy Hoffelt - Williston
Weston Dressler - Bismarck

2nd unit offense
Kyle Bondy - Williston
Jake Caufield - Minot
Tom Loegering - Dickinson
Andrew Sorbo - Adams
Brady Trenbeath - Cavalier

1st Unit Defense
Steve Brennan - West Fargo

2nd Unit Defense
Ward DeMontigny - Washburn
Bobby Stroup - Fargo
Brett Holinka - Dickinson
Tyler Morrow - Wahpeton
Tyler Weigelt - Fessenden

Brandon Hellevang - Fargo (Kicked all field goals in scrimmage)

Here's article from spring ball game in the herald. Grand Forks Centrals Ryan Chappell didn't play due to a minor hip injury and Lennon had a quote on Trenbeath "Brady Trenbeath is a guy who will play a lot of football for us." He will only be a freshmen this coming fall.

I have to find my notes from the event but the guys looked pretty good. I definitely agree and see Trenbeath having a big impact this year. He looked great.

I will post more later.
