Big Rivalry - Gophers vs. Sioux in hockey

there is a big series comming up in Minneapolis this weekend as the Sioux go into Minneapolis to take on their biggest rival, the Minnesota Golden Gophers. what are everyones predictions and thoughts about the upcoming games?

What did you guys think of the seiries. First game kinda not rivalry like. But amazing goal by Trupp. Tonight really physical uptempo. I think the sioux out played them tonight and out hit them.

the Sioux showed why they are number 3 in the nation but my only dislike about the whole series was the minnesota announcers broadcasting the game on fsn just couldnt stop bashing the sioux, but i guess this weekends series will shut him up GO SIOUX!!!!!!!!!!

Very true. They came out and played more aggresive than minnesota hands down. A lot more hitting from UND. I wish they would have let Finley and Wheeler go at it.

Isn't every game a rivalry game since there are only 60 DI schools with hockey.
Oh wait and most are under funded and at schools that don't give a pooh about hockey.
