Craig Fredrickson came to North Dakota State several years ago as a young, fast and strong athlete. The fact somebody who looked so indestructible left the world last week has left his former teammates in shock.



Fredrickson, of Fargo, died of cardiac arrest. He was 29. His funeral is at 1:30 p.m. today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Detroit Lakes, Minn.

He made his mark with his speed and power with the Detroit Lakes High School football team. He was one of NDSU’s top recruits in the 1996 recruiting class.
