They should not stick an event like this in a far corner of the state in a city that has no major media to cover it and very few restaurants and motels.  It makes even less sense to do that then have a tournament in Grand Forks.  At least Grand Forks has some accomodations for the fans.

I agree. Bismarck, Minot, Fargo all have very good rodeo facilities. The question begs, "why Bowman?"

 A couple guesses.  It probably doesn't draw that well and it was much cheaper to put on it Bowman than anyplace else.  I don't think it's publicized very well, I didn't hear any mention of it other than here.  Too bad, I'm sure it was fun for those in attendance.

Bowman knows how to put on a great event.  Ever wonder why Bowman keeps getting voted in year after year?  It's a well kept secret.
