Its almost the same. We had a topic about this before. I am quoting myself.

Here is why I think that the level of difficulty in winning state in either is very hard, and for different reasons.

A: Quality of competition, Ability of average team to have great night.
B: Quantity of competition, Fact that if you have one off night, you don't go to state.

Reasons it is easier.

A: Not a lot of teams, Two good games get you to state.
B:Two or three players can win state for an entire team, Competition usually has a weak player at some spot.

I do not know a whole lot about the titles won by high school teams in Grand Forks but due to the fact that UND has one national titles in more than one sport, I would have to vote for G.F..

If colleges/universities do not count, I do not not care. My hometown has never one a title. :oops:

he probably got rocked in some sport by a B-shot and is bitter about it now.

i no rr and gfc combined have 36 hockey titles in that sport... rr has somtin another 30 for both boys and womens tennis combined.... so i bet just between these two schools proll about 100 state titles for all the sports..
