Pretty good debut for Carson. 22 of 37 for 278 yards and 2 TD's. Eagles 29 Browns 10. Looking forward to going to Chicago next Monday for their Monday night game against the Bears.

Early Leader in Rookie of the Year
****https://www.profootballfocus.com/pro...m_medium=email

NFL players often get more scrutiny surrounding their performance during their rookie season than in any other year of their career, and for good reason. While substandard play in year one isn’t a death sentence for a player, superstars rarely trip up right out of the gate. With that in mind, I’ll be ranking the top 10 Rookie of the Year candidates after every week of the 2016 NFL season. Note that this list will evolve each week as the sample size for each rookie grows. Here’s how things stack up after Week 1:

1. Carson Wentz, QB, Eagles

There are obviously still some issues with his performance, yet Carson Wentz’s grade against the Browns is the highest passing grade we’ve assigned to a rookie quarterback in Week 1 since Cam Newton in 2011. The former North Dakota State standout recorded an adjusted completion percentage of 81.3 (fourth-best among QBs) and gained 68.7 percent of his yards through the air in what couldn’t have been a more encouraging start to an NFL career.

Fell in love with Chicago. What a great city. Wrigley was awesome as was Soldier Field especially when Carson and the Eagles put a beating on the Bears. I highly recommend to take a river boat cruise. Only a couple hours long but you really get a feel for the history of the city and some of the older buildings along the river. Will definitely be going back when I can spend more time there.

Eagles go over 110 yards in penalties for the second game in a row. Yep both losses. Vikings next week and then the Cowboys. Nobody said it would be easy.

It's been rough for Carson and the Eagles the last handful of games. Looks like they will be working on his mechanics this off season. Hopefully they will look for a number 1 receiver too because they have none now.

Most wins this season vs. playoff teams: Tennessee 5, Green Bay 5, New England 4, Philadelphia 4. Also noteworthy: Detroit 0, Miami 1, Oakland 1, Houston 2, Atlanta 2, Pittsburgh 2.

Not to mention the 5-0 Vikings...exposed them.

Quite an accomplishment, can't be overlooked.
