2021 9B Playoff Scenarios

How are the brackets going to be laid out? I know that 8 region champions are seeded 1-8 based on a coaches vote of the coaches who are region champions, but how are the #2 and #3 teams from each region placed on the bracket?

I believe regions 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8 are paired together.

Region 1 and 2 would look like this I believe:

Region 1 #2 seed would host Region 2 #3 seed and the winner would travel to Region 2 #1 seed
Region 2 #2 seed would host Region 1 #3 seed and the winner would travel to Region 1 #1 seed.

Let me know your thoughts! If they are paired Region 1 vs Region 2; Region 3 vs Region 4; Region 5, vs Region 6; and Region 7 vs Region 8. Would Regions 1-4 be on the top half and Regions 5-8 on the bottom of the bracket?

You are correct for the first 2 rounds. But they seed the 8 number 1 seeds. so we won't know potential quarterfinal matchups until that happens.

Thank You! If they seed them 1-8, the quarterfinal match-ups could be like this, barring any of the seeds getting knocked off.
