From Carson’s twitter account

NFC East Champs! So proud of the resiliency of this team. Such a special group of men.

And I greatly appreciate all the prayers! I know my God is a powerful one with a perfect plan. Time to just lean in to him and trust whatever the circumstances! #Proverbs3:5-6

PHILADELPHIA -- Just because Carson Wentz won’t be on the field Sunday in the NFC Championship Game doesn’t mean he isn't supporting the team. He has just taken on a new role as the Philadelphia Eagles have embarked on a playoff run that has them one win away from the Super Bowl.

Really disappointed with the scenes of Eagles fans wearing his jersey and throwing things/being disruptive towards Vikings fans. If I was him, I would speak up. I would not find it acceptable for people wearing my jersey to be doing anything that could harm another person. Especially when they aren't starting it, they are just trying to support their team.

He did speak up to local media. Not happy about it at all about it. Absolutely disgusting at some of the things I saw.

What a wild and crazy game. Defense was non existent. Nick Foles is happy now he didn’t retire. He had all day back there and made the Pats pay. I have a feeling their may be another title in the near future. Fly Eagles Fly!!!!

Philadelphia joins New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles as the only cities with a team to win the World Series, Stanley Cup, Super Bowl and NBA title.

Carson Wentz has played 32 games, or the equivalent of two full seasons. Here’s where he ranks in NFL history among QBs after 32 games:

7,992 Yards [7th]
54 TDs [6th]
1 INT every 53 att. [3rd]
726 Completions [2nd]

Very real chance Goff passes him in the first 2 stats when he plays in 5 more games. It's almost like you shouldn't compare QBs across eras.

Goff has some weapons around him. Gurley is a beast and having Cooks,Kupp, and Woods is a nice group of receivers to have not to mention one heck of an offensive line. With all that said Goff is throwing dimes out there. Very impressive
