sorry but i dont see a team in the state tourney giving up 9 goals

Century and Mandan will both give up alot of goals... I could actually see them both being double digit games.

you don't see a team giving up 9 goals? if you have seen both mandan and grafton play i don't think you would make that statement. kline is good but against a high powered offense ( which mandan has not faced all year) he is going to get lit up.

how many times have you watched kline play? Both times mandan has played east teams they played their backup. Im not saying west is better then east or anything Im just wondering if by chance the time you saw mandan play they didnt have kline in net. It would have to be a total team breakdown for him to get lit up 9 times. just cant see it happening.

It is not out of the realm of possibility that a team like Grafton could score 7+ on Mandan. Just under a month ago, BHS scored 7 in their 7-2 win over Mandan. Grafton definitely has some offensive firepower, probably more than Mandan has seen all season long. I am not discrediting the mandan team, and I do not believe that Grafton will score 7 goals, I am just saying that it isn't impossible to think they could.

Fargo North vs. Mandan North 4-3 makes it to the consolation game.
Bismarck Century vs. Williston Williston 3-2 on to the consolation
Grafton-Park River vs. Bismarck High G-PR 4-1 on to the title game
G.F. Red River vs. South Red River 4-1 on to the title game

I didn't do so well last week picking the thursdays winners, or the EDC champion, but the 4 teams I picked on Thursday from the East made it to state. Let's see how I do this week.

Meh, I don't think including scores is even worth it. Scores are too easily flexible in ANY game that it is relatively impossible to accurately decifer a score of a game. I find it's safe to go with just picking winners, to avoid upsetting people.

i don't know? why don't you take a look at his gaa against Bottineau. i belive it is 4.00. that is not good goaltending against the # 8 seed from the west. and if bottineau can get 5 on him, grafton can get 9.

yes they did. they played a real good game against GPR. I think GPR underestimated them a bit. I hope they dont udneresitmate Bismarck or we could see our first west team in the final since a long time ago.

when you say mandan played well do you think they actually had a shot at winning the game. i was wondering because the stats look pretty lopsided in favor of grafton.

Idk about a shot in the game im just saying a bounce or two there way its now a 2-1 game. All it takes is a boucne or bad pass and someone is on a breackaway. you never.

Talked to some people that were at the early games and they said they couldnt believe how pick the officials were about the calls they made. a lot of questionable calls. o well i guess. as long as they call it equal.

RR pummeld century tonite 8-2. had 60 some shots on goal to centruys 10 i beleive. overall domination by RR. also, a evan trupp like goal was scored by RR. batted out of the air.

I hope they dont continue sharing this tournament with the girls in the future. I'm very dissapointed that the third place game isnt on tv. I think that bhs and south are pretty evenly matched and would be a good game to see. I think south wins 5-3.
