currently...probably malm from red river or possibly the coach from grafton or DL because of the way their programs have been turned around

Grafton's hockey program has always been top notch.... After RR and Central I can't think of a team with more state championships..... and there is no team with more 2nd place finishes. No I would have to go with Malm or Wilson.

I was kind of thinking that, when was Grafton NOT a good team, so how were they "turned around".......???

The best hockey coach ever would have to go to whoever coached Grand Forks Central during their 17 year dynasty.

Serge Gambucci, like the hockey rink attached to the Fido Purpur Arena in Grand Forks.

Serge still teaches at the high school today. hes is gettin up there.

I knew he had been a few years ago, was not aware that he still was. Guy must love his job!

I think he just loves to be aorund the kids. I see him often are outdoor practices skating around the rink with some of the younger players helping out the coaches.

That is great! He evidently does enjoy being around the kids.
