North Dakota Preps

I don't think this years team compares to the last 2 years. Whats everyones thoughts on everything.....Where the numbers for try-outs low? Our is it that the better players in the state are somewhere else right now and don't have time? Our is this the best team Team ND could put together.

Definetly not the best team we could put together...I think we would have a great team but players are else wher...But where are those that aren't elsewhere...There should have been more names on the roster...IMO

i wouldnt expect them to win a game at regionals

i thought last years team would struggle and they proved me wrong, but i dont see that with this team

i think the team will do all right, lots of fire power up front.  they have 2 decent goaltenders and a good bunch of defencemen.  maybe not your household names, but i think they will do good. 

Dakota Starz took it to them. They are only 16 year olds. Doesnt say much for team ND...

who all is on the dakota starz team? and who stood out for Team ND?

Team ND has few good players. Miller, Hills, and Klein looked good for team nd, I though Everson would have been better, and Herbal has good skills but still looks like he hasn't had much experience at this level. The Starz are a good team, but they scored every goal against team nd's weak third line, and they were without their fourth line, so... team nd is going to have to play their top two lines more than the others or they will not do very well. Miller, Hills, Everson, Klein, Herbal, and Welding are going to have to get a lot of playing time, or it's going to be a long tournament.

Wow......

last years team lost to the 89's........ look how they did. you hafta take into consideration that that was team NDs first actual scrimmage as a team and with the lines that they had....... the dakota stars have been playing together for a long time now and have probably played with the same kids the whole time.....

    Wish I would a seen this earlier if you were a betting man. lol! referring to not win one game! How about 6 in the Nationals and the championship.

This is talking about Team North Dakota not the u16 stars

Since when was the starz considered Team ND?

i would like 2 wish team north dakota good luck next week and take it home.

Team ND lost 6-4 to Illinois welding had 1-goal and 3-assists, Herbel had 3 assists, tyler klien had 3 goals.

Last year when Team ND lost to the 89's not everyone was there, a lot of the players were gone from prom and a funeral.

Team ND is now 0-4 or something, not impressive at all

well i think the state was defiantlly down for talent but i think it really hurt them not to hav any minot kids on the team that team had some talent but it allways gets over looked and has for the last several years so that has made alot of kids leave early so a few of these kids on the team would have had a big impact.

I think it's more of the fact that very few good east players played on the team.

yeah it definately was cause they didnt have any minot kids

The only thing good to come out of Minot is Highway 2 East !

i wasnt trying to slam him minot has great players come out year after year im just stating i dont think that was this years problem
