Top 5 in state

1 RR

2 GPR

3 BHS out on a limb here

4 South

5 Dicky

Just from thinking about underclassmen here BHS grads 4 but hillman will be big and i think Dicky only grads 1 or 2

How about Ladoucer or Galbreath of RR?  Ian Powers of South ..maybe?  Or maybe even a goalie like Groves...Arnason has good numbers but doesn't really impress me much..

I dont think they'd give Mr. Hockey to a super senior.

They were poking fun of Ian Powers from South. He's an 18-19 year old Junior...

When you say Shanley vs.Whap. finals thats funny, but Shnaley is returning 20 letterman next season, they return Thomas, Dietzler, Sinner, Hvidston, and more. They could come out being a surprise.

Even with those returning they wont be able to compete with RR, south, Grafton, or DL.  The only teams they will be able to play with are whap. and North.

my brother was saying that fargo shanley was the top fargo team in the late 80's, hard to imagine.  they had the sandy brothers who were really good, anybody remember those days.

is the fargo angles, shanleys feeder program?  i notice they return alot of players and the angles bantam a team is doing fairly good.

Yes they are the feeder program. One season ago both pee wee teams won state. Shanley won't just compete with North and Whap. They will compete with West Fargo, Devils Lake, and Central. Don't sell them short.

I heard he was staying with the Bruins, but we don't know until the season starts, I guess.

Even if shanley could beat, let's say Central, it doesn't make them any closer to getting to state. Still have Grafton, South, RR, and a filler spot for the east. They'd have to fight with Central/DL/WF/North for that final spot, and their lack of depth doesn't put them on the top of those 4.

Once they get a goalie who doesnt allow 16 goals in the first round of EDC in 2 periods
