Even with those returning they wont be able to compete with RR, south, Grafton, or DL. The only teams they will be able to play with are whap. and North.

my brother was saying that fargo shanley was the top fargo team in the late 80's, hard to imagine. they had the sandy brothers who were really good, anybody remember those days.
is the fargo angles, shanleys feeder program? i notice they return alot of players and the angles bantam a team is doing fairly good.
Posted: Fri Mar 02, 2007 9:07 amYes they are the feeder program. One season ago both pee wee teams won state. Shanley won't just compete with North and Whap. They will compete with West Fargo, Devils Lake, and Central. Don't sell them short.

I heard he was staying with the Bruins, but we don't know until the season starts, I guess.
Even if shanley could beat, let's say Central, it doesn't make them any closer to getting to state. Still have Grafton, South, RR, and a filler spot for the east. They'd have to fight with Central/DL/WF/North for that final spot, and their lack of depth doesn't put them on the top of those 4.
