Who does everyone think is the scariest guy with the puck. The person who if they get a chance to shoot usually will score.

Eric Meland, Ian Powers, and Zach Miller would be my top three.

What about the Herbel kid from Bottineau?  He is fast and can handle the puck...they are an improved team, but how many games can they win with him??

Yeah I would say Herbel he has such good vision with the puck and was probably the fastest skater in state

Meland is probably the best. Well rounded player. I think Vigen and Demers a right behind though.

He's got great hands and it's almost always a goal if he is allowed to set up a shot. I'd have to agree with this one, he did a great job in his JV to Varsity transition this year, and we'll see how he shapes up his senior year.

I think that Zach Miller is a great goal scorer that doesnt get enough recognition. If you guys didnt notice he was tied for the lead in points going into the state tournament, so he probably lead that state in points for the year.

I agree with that, he was the best forward in my mind.

After watching him play a few times i believe that he is the best forward in the state also.  I  think he should have won Mr. Hockey.

Welding is a great player, physical and a good goal scorer...he just has no one really to play with on his Jamestown team.  If he played for Red River with players that can score around him, he would have 50 points.

Ya but are you sure that it would have been much harder to score like he did not only playing in the east but also having to play on a team where many players are capable of scoring

To name a few, I saw these guys make some pretty sweet passes this season.

Miller, McDougall, Bombenger, Everson, and Crary.

How bout Bryce Schmidt in Minot tying the WDA tournament record for goals scored with I believe seven goals as a freshman. Has to be some talent there.
