North vs. South Hockey Game Moved.  The game was originally scheduled for Thursday night, but will instead be played on Friday at 4:30 instead.  The funeral for Fargo South volunteer assistant boy's hockey coach of 16 years, Tony Deichert, and father of South junior goalie, Sean Deichert, is Thursday morning.

One of the hardest things in life is to lose a father.

It is in moments like these that we truly remember that life is greater than sports. My thoughts and prayers to the family, friends, the team and Fargo South High.

Yes, it is terrible to hear something like that.  The Fargo hockey family will miss him.  It is terrible to lose a dad while you are still in high school, but i think Sean has plenty of support and he has a good team to back him up if he is shaky for a couple of games but you cant blame him.  Extremely sorry for the loss.

Sounds like it was a very emotional night and a good one for Sean in goal.
